GLENDA CONNER

I graduated from KU in Pharmacy and worked for 7 years in pharmacy and management. Then 13 years for Abbott Pharmaceutical Company in many positions in Sales and then in Marketing and Management. Then, I took a big plunge at age 43 and moved to Indonesia and have been here going on 13 years now. My life is full of adventure living here. It would be hard to go back now and live in the US given all my travels. My main hobby is snorkeling and I'm often in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Australia hitting all the best snorkeling spots. I've taken diving lessons but have too many allergies to dive very deep.

I've done many things here in various businesses, with the main business being import/export as you can see from my pictures in one of the factories. The import/export business takes me all over Indonesia and it is really a blast. I also had the honor of helping with the Tsunami in Aceh - even setting up a pharmacy there during the crisis. I had many Aceh friends die in the Tsunami since I'd lived there back in 1999. I've included a picture of me in front of one of the mosques in Aceh.

I have never married and am still looking for Mr. Right.
